The Longcoat creates a structured silhouette for minifigs that need a little bit of drama.
Characters born for this coat: Vampire lords, clockwork detectives, dark sorcerers, or cyberpunk denizens. Basically, anyone with a complicated relationship with authority.
It attaches discreetly between the torso and legs, leaving an open armhole area on each side. With this design, the minifig arms can move freely and the arm sockets don't get stressed. Other designs clip onto the arm socket directly, wearing down the cloth and loosening the fit over time. This one doesn't.

NOTE: Best used with arms at least slightly forward to help shape the coat and keep it from dropping down the shoulder.
